Four ways we generate revenue
ClipPoints operates across four distinct monetization channels that reinforce each other as volume grows.
Session photo and video sales
Customers pay per photo, per full session, or for watermark removal. The baseline revenue stream — stable and predictable.
AI photo upsells
Every session customer is offered AI-generated portrait styles at checkout. High-margin, zero marginal cost after generation.
Subscription packages
Pre-paid session bundles for frequent visitors and travel groups. Locks in revenue before the visit.
B2B location licensing
Venues pay a setup and monthly access fee to have ClipPoints infrastructure on-site. Recurring and scalable.
All four channels operate on the same underlying platform — adding a new location does not require adding engineering headcount.

- Go backend with RabbitMQ-based processing pipeline — built for high throughput and reliability.
- Nuxt 4 frontend with real-time session updates — no app install required for customers.
- n8n workflow engine for notifications, AI triggers, and partner integrations.
- Supabase Postgres for session and order data — hosted in Singapore and Mumbai for low latency.
- Self-hosted infrastructure on a dedicated server — predictable cost structure as volume scales.
